New student trial lessons, please use our new student form to book your first lesson.

Payment for ‘Pay-As-You-Go’ lessons must be collected prior to the lesson or the lesson will be forfeited.

Torres Music Academy Policy for Reschedule and Canceled Lessons

Student Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

  • Lessons canceled before the recommended 24-hour minimum notice – All (Monthly Tuition or Per-Lesson) lessons canceled with at least 24 hours’ notice can be rescheduled for a later date, up to two times per lesson (i.e. A student may reschedule the lesson to a later date, and if necessary reschedule the lesson to an additional later date, but any additional rescheduling is not guaranteed).
  • Less than 24 Hour Lesson Cancellations – All (Monthly Tuition or Per-Lesson) lessons canceled by the student or Account Holder with less than a 24 hours’ notice may or may not be rescheduled at the discretion of Torres Music Academy and is contingent upon the instructor’s availability to make special arrangements on short notice. 
  • Monthly Tuition Rate Students Cancellations – Students utilizing the Monthly Subscription Plans who have pre-paid for that month may cancel or reschedule make-up lessons:
    • Make-up lessons can be carried over to the following month. 
    • Make-up lessons expire in 3 months after the date of the canceled lesson
    • Make-up lessons may not be redeemed for cash
    • Make-up lessons can be gifted to another student upon approval from the business with the same parameters as above
  • All (Monthly Tuition or Per-Lesson) lessons canceled due to non-payment will be forfeit without refund. 
  • Torres Music Academy reserves the right to cancel a lesson at any time due to a change in the instructor’s availability, in the case of sickness, emergencies, natural disaster, or pandemic-related closures.
    • Lessons canceled by Torres Music Academy will be rescheduled or credited to the student’s account.
