What are Boomwhackers and What Music Skills do they teach?

Boomwhackers are colorful, lightweight, tuned percussion tubes. They offer a hands-on way for kids ages 7 to 12 to learn music fundamentals like rhythm, melody, and harmony. By tapping or striking the tubes, children can easily understand pitch relationships and develop coordination.

Boomwhackers are leverage in music education to develop visual and auditory feedback training through engaging and accessible activities that foster creative musicianship and teamwork.

Boomwhackers also promote active participation and can be used in group settings, making them ideal for music education in classrooms or at home.
